PRODUCER: Are you a member of a production crew or someone seeking an organized approach to pruning?

PRESCRIBER: An ISA Certified Arborist who is interested in earning the PPQ qualification, valid for 7 years. Ohio Chapter members available for hire will have this qualification listed among their services offered in the Find an Arborist search tool.

This training event provides a practical guide for strategic planning, specifying, and implementing a practical pruning approach.  It is the culmination of decades of Dr. Gilman's research and incorporates consistency with the ANSI A300 Standards and BMPs, in collaboration with modern practices.

March 19: 7:45 am – 5:00 pm Day 2 - Prescribers Only
March 20: 7:45 am – 12:30 pm Day 3 - Exam Day Prescribers Only

  • Come prepared for the weather of the day.
  • This course is approved for ISA CEUs.
  • The Ohio Chapter reserves the right to cancel or reschedule this course due to low attendance. If the Ohio Chapter cancels the course before electronic manuals are sent, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded.

Registration Fees:

  • Producer (Day 1 Only) Advance Rates:
    • $190 Chapter Member/$245 Non-member
  • Prescriber (3-Days) Advance Rates:
    • $650 Chapter Member/$725 Non-member
  • Registrations on or after February 13 are $50 higher.

Registration Includes: Danish each morning, lunch on Wednesday and Thursday.

Registration Deadline: Seating is limited to 100 participants or February 23, 2026, whichever comes first.

Approximately 10 days before the course, you will receive an electronic version of the manual via email from Florida ISA. Hard copies will be distributed at the course.

ISA CEUs Available:
Producer: ISA - 7, BCMA - 7(P)
Prescriber: ISA - 15.5, BCMA - 15.5(P)

You must be an ISA Certified Arborist to sit for the exam on Day 3 and earn this qualification through the Florida ISA.
