As much as we like trees, they do have their faults. In this workshop we’ll take a deep dive into identifying the structural defects in trees that contribute to their eventual failure including:
- Branch attachments
- Root formation
- Decay
- Damage
- Response growth
- Site conditions
For those arborists considering taking ISA’s Tree Risk Assessment Qualification course (TRAQ) this will be valuable preparation. For those arborists who have already attained the TRAQ credential, this will be a practical expansion of the tree biology side of risk assessment.
