Description: This talk will discuss the causal agent of bacterial leaf scorch in oak trees and how it differs from similar looking diseases and stressors. We will cover the biology and practical management of this disease in our urban and forested environments.
Presenter: Dr. Kristen Wickert - Plant pathologist with the USFS
Bio: Kristen is a representative of the USFS Morgantown field office. Her specialty is working with fungal diseases that affect forest and urban trees in the Mid-Atlantic region. She also has experience in the fields of entomology and botany and enjoys teaching others about recent findings in forest health.
