Description: With more federal funding being made available, more people / organizations are vying for the funds and NOT properly selecting, planting or taking care of trees. The program will be a review on the importance of proper tree planting and after care and why it’s important for our profession to set an example by doing it correctly.
Presenter: Jennifer Milbrandt
Bio: Jennifer Milbrandt is the Coordinator of Natural Resources for the City of Strongsville where she is responsible for managing the urban forest, as well as the landscape maintenance program throughout the city. She is also responsible for all the City’s environmental programs, the annual winter wonderland holiday display and acts as the liaison to the utilities. Jennifer is an ISA certified arborist, Tree Risk Assessment Qualified, and part of the FEMA – USFS Strike Response Team.
ISA CEUs: Certified Arborist – 1.0, Municipal Specialist – 1.0, BCMA Practice – 1.0
