Hemlock woolly adelgid (HWA) and elongate hemlock scale (EHS) are non-native invasive insects that have contributed to the mortality of millions of hemlocks in the Appalachian region and are becoming established in parts of Ohio. Come learn about strategies for managing these hemlock pests in landscapes and forests. This program will include indoor presentations and outdoor demonstrations.

This program has been submitted for continuing education credits for:
• Ohio pesticide applicators (core, forest pest, and ornamental pest categories)
• Society of American Foresters
• International Society of Arboriculture
